Jane,
I've been to New York City a few times in my life, but, my tour with you
is one of my great NYC memories that stick out above the rest. You and
that beautiful city are forever linked in my mind. I don't know when I'll
be visiting the city next, but I'll try my darndest to incorporate a Jane
Marx tour into the trip.
You are a wonderful woman Jane Marx and, four years after your tour, I
still think of you fondly.
Peace and love to you!
- Darren Johnston, Kalamazoo, MI
You
absolutely blew us away with your Urban Performance!
Your humor, knowledge, and "inside info" on our favorite
city seemed to be the highlight of the trip for all of
our 'Steel Magnolias'! No one wanted you to leave!
- Cynthia
Nowery, Shreveport, Louisiana
On April
2 you led a tour of NYC. I was on with 18 boys from
Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in Miami. We had just
come from two days in Boston and spent two days in
Washington after being in NYC. By a unanimous vote you
were chosen the tour guide who provided the most
information, historical perspective, insight, wit,
laughs, and flare. For that day you became the voice of
New York City and our stay was enriched all the more
because of you. Thank you for your outstanding work. We
thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciate you.
- Patrick
Collins, Chairman for Social Studies Department, Belen
Jesuit Preparatory School, Miami, Florida
I'm sure you know
what a character you are, and how entertaining you are.
However, it is your knowledge of history and fascinating
anecdotes that really set you apart...We have never
experienced a tour that was so much fun.
- Cathy
Fowler, Orlando, Florida, State Farm Travel Meeting, New
York City
I don't believe I
have had such a wonderful experience before. You are so
dynamic and such a special person. I enjoyed the tour so
much, would/could spend a entire week with you!
- Tom
Scribner, Salt Lake City, Utah
Thanks for making me feel confident on the streets and
subways.
- Elizabeth Withers, age 11,
Park Private Day School,
Costa Mesa California
One again you WOWED them. Pithy, provocative,
personable with a plethora of information. You are an
asset to New York City.
- Carole M. Love, Senior
V.P., Wedgewood Productions, Maryland
I could not have wished for a more suitable guide for
this particular group. As the Brits say, 'they were
tickled pink' to have someone as outgoing and vivacious
as yourself to guide them around New York.
- Samantha Burdekin, Status
Meetings, Ltd., U.K.
Again you have been
selected as a recipient of our Outstanding Achievement
Award.
- Dave Snyder,
CEO, Travel Adventures, Lapeer, Michigan
Everyone praised you, even the bus drivers.
- Carol Fishman, Group
Discount Attractions, Levittown, New York
Everyone here who has been on your tour assures me that
you are not one of New York's top tour guides, 'you are
the top tour guide.'
- Jane Bredendick, Office of
Continuing Education, University of Wisconsin
What a professional! Your commitment, your enthusiasm
and in particular your New York humour was just re-marx-able--a
true professional in every way.
- David Baker, David
Baker Marketing, U.K.
I hope you enjoy it. If
you don't, something's the matter with you.
- Whitney, Age 12,
Lithonia, Georgia
Dear Ms.
Marx or Jane,
I didn't have the chance to say that that was the best
tour I have ever had, after traveling through 28 states
and many tours in my 14 year life, yours was the best.
Thank you very much for the tour in the city. I thought
you were hilarious.
I can't wait to have a tour from you again next year
with our German exchange class.
I actually would see your TV show if you had one. Maybe
you should produce one on NBC.
Thanks again, Bryan Alphin (in the red hair with the
brother who threw up in the UN story)
- Bryan, Age 14, Roanoke, Virginia.
